About Frank
Novelist, Author, Maintenance & Turnaround Management Evangelist, OCM practitioner and Angel Investor.
Frank (born in 1962) began his professional career as a service technician before studying industrial engineering and later pursuing a PhD in the field of artificial intelligence, focusing on expert systems in maintenance. In 1991, he continued his career at a German software company, initially as a product manager for a CMMS solution and later as a maintenance consultant. In 1994, together with two colleagues, he founded T.A. Cook Consultants. Two further companies followed: the conference provider TAC Insights and the turnaround management firm T/ANGO. Over the years, T.A. Cook grew to around 200 employees and developed into one of the world’s leading management consultancies in asset management consulting.
During his 27 years at T.A. Cook, Frank was responsible for the strategic development of the group and the global leadership of its consulting activities. He led projects in Europe, Brazil, Russia, China, the Middle East, and the United States. During 2017 to 2021 he lived and worked in then U.S. und biult up the U.S. office in Houston. In 2021, he and his partners sold T.A. Cook to Accenture. As an MD at Accenture Frank took over the role as Global Lead for Intelligent Asset Management.
In the summer of 2025, he left Accenture to pursue new professional challenges. Since then, he has been active as an author, key note speaker and angel investor in the field of asset management. He is married, has three children, and lives with his family in Berlin.
